a while back i was reading that some of you were having problems with the kit coming apart. has there been anything done to fix the problem? i would like to get the system but cant afford to have it mess up on me.

Are you talking about the ball bearings falling out of the adapter?



If so then the answer is yes. Aaron (president of Edge Pads) PM'ed me after those threads and asked if I would test out a slightly revised adapter. I've used the new adapter a few times without issue, but it's definitely getting to be winter around here so I don't know how many more times I'll get to use it.



Anyway, I'm sure you could email Aaron directly and inquire about the actual fixes he's put in and whether or not they're in production as yet. Talking to him it did seem that this was not a problem which was not occuring for a lot of people. However, he was working hard on a solution anyway.
