Drying Observation

Hello. Have any of you noticed a difference when drying a car that has a sealant than that that has a carnauba. I use a WW MF drying towel and up until this past weekend, have had a polymer sealant on my car. Before drying, I used the water sheeting method with the nozzle off of the water hose and then draw the towel over the horizontal surfaces, trying not to put any pressure on the towel. I sort of just throw the towel flat over the surface and pull the towel along by the edge binding. That seemed to remove practically ALL of the remaining water beads left after sheeting.

I now have Natty's Blue on my car and washed it for the first time after that application this past weekend. I noticed that when using the method of drawing the towel over the surface, it seemed to just push water around and create fine lines of tiny beads of water. more passes with the towel were required to dry to roof, hood and the trunk lid. Not a big deal, just more effort. The vertical panels seemed the same, but most of the water had already run off by the time I got to those panels.

Just wondering if the carnauba has anything to do with that. I would compare to the effect on the family SUV that has PW on it, but my dad washes and dries it and I just follow up with FX-100 on his car when I can.
