I don't have any Z6... the distributor ran out of stock..

Can i use meguiars FI instead >?

If not, can i just reapply z2 after buffin off the first coat /?

I would go straight to the second coat. I strongly advise against using Meguir's FI because of the trace amount of wax. It works OK to QD with the Meguir's, because the wax will will be washed off before you apply your next coat of Z. But immediately between coats is probably not so good?

I think its also advised that you wait 24 hours between coats of Z unless you are using the ZFx additive.

May I ask where you got this information that Meguiar's FI contains wax? Unless it is indeed an <em class='bbc'>extremely[/i] trace amount of wax, I don't know that I've seen any information that would support this.

I actually use FI specifically between layers of Klasse because I believed it contained no wax. Was I wrong here?

Thanks for the info.

Justin & Irvin - it appears I am out-to-lunch on my initial response. I believed that the Meguir's FI had carnuba from research I've done on this site. But, after going back over previous posts I see I am wrong.

As you may already now know, the Final Inspection certainly has gloss enhancers, albeit not as good as some other quick detailers. However, it doesn't have carnauba in it. Laters
