Detailing in a drought?

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have been lurking around this site for a bit now and have already purchased a PC along with some Meguiar's products.

I do have one question since I'd like to detail my car this weekend. Here in NY we are in a drought and should be conserving water....thus no watering lawns or washing cars.

How do you all deal with this? Anyone in the Brooklyn area know of any car washes with those pressure hoses...not the automatic washes.

I figured I could QD after the pressure wash and then detail the car. Would this be safe?

Thanks,

George

This is a great site that should be visited by anyone who cares about thier car!

Welcome to Autopia... get ready to spend a lot of $$$ ;)

Do a search for Scottwax and Quick and Easy Wash. You should find the answer you're looking for. :)

Basically you can wash your car with less than a gallon of water and no hose.

Hey Mutilator,

Thanks for the welcome! I'll do the search......I'm looking forward to a full detailing weekend!

Thanks Again,

George
