Detailed my Ranger

Well I detailed my 03 Ranger (Just the paint right now, everything else is dirty, I've cleaned them since but was over anxious to get pictures of the paint) but I figured I'd share some pictures. Let me know what you think.

What I did:

1. Clayed the whole car with Meg's blue clay and Mothers show-n-shine

2. Poorboys SSR2.5 with white pad w/ PC on 6

3. Poorboys SSR1 with white pad w/ PC on 6

4. TR-3 Resin Glaze with white pad w/ PC on 3

5. Hand applied Mothers Pure Carnuaba Paste Wax

As for the pictures.

Kudos for removing the wipers to detail the paint! At least I hope that was the reason why they're not on the car!

Real wet-looking paint.

Great job.

Yes they are 03 Cobra wheels.

On the tires I used som tire foam afterwords, I'm not sure of the brand, just some crap I've had laying around the house. I haven't got into detailing until very recently (I only cared about keeping my 96 Cobra clean) and have only collected products for paint care really at this point. I plan to buy some wheel/tire/interior products next.

Thanks for your compliments, and if anyone has any comments, I'd love to hear them.

Also, I know the combo is unique, the TR-3 works pretty well for durability (Truck is driven daily and kept outside) and the Mothers wax is a decent OTC product in my eyes, I like that its cheap and redily available for an everyday vehicle.

And for the color, its Sonic Blue with a custom clear I had sprayed when I built this truck. They made Sonic Blue on these trucks that year, just not as pure looking (The clear does it...the normal SB was more purplish.)
