Detailed: Black Nissan Frontier

All I can say is WOW :grinno: I even impressed myself at how this one turned out. I impressed myself so much, I treated the owner to some products normall reserved for my personal cars.



Did his wife's car the day before (2002 Nissan Altima, Beige metallic), nothing spectacular. So he wanted me to do his Frontier with a "little" :evil: water spots. We all know how that goes! So I prepare for the worst, bringing my compound and the rotary.



Washed it down with ONR. Clayed the hood and roof, then took these pics. Remember, these are pics taken AFTER the wash and clay!

Here's my process and alot of AFTER pics.



Used All Brite Water Spot Remover. Sprayed it on, activated with Simple Green/Water (50/50 mix) rubbed a little, wiped off. ONR QD wipe down.



Got such good results, I wanted to give this a little different approach, using some "higher end" stuff and the Metabo. Polished using the Metabo with white LC Curved pad and Menz 106FF. Gave it such a nice, LSP ready gloss finish. Alot of dusting, as expected, but wiped down with PB S&W and took care of it.



Trims dressed with PB Trim Restorer. Tires dress with Armor All Tire Foam.



Sealed it off with some new CG JetSeal109. That's when the WOW :shocked then the :D with a grin came. The owner was so shocked and impressed, when I asked him if I could take a few pics for my portfolio, he said "Yes, please do!"

Jetseal came from FMINUS (Thanks, BTW). The rest, can be bought on Pakshak.com. I pick these up locally from a specialized retail location that I also detail out of. PM me if you're in Hawaii.
 
Black Nissans look incredible when detailed. This is no exception. Good job!



When you say the scratch failed the fingernail test, Do you mean you couldn't feel it with your fingernail yet it couldn't be removed?

No, my fingernail got stuck in the scratch, so it couldn't be removed. It was too deep to even attempt to remove it.
