Costco Microfiber Towels

I saw a few post where people were getting a good deal on like 12 MF towels for 7-9$ of some sort. I tried to look for it but I couldn't find it. I ended up finding a 36pack Microfiber auto cloths package. Just curious if anyone have ever used it before, and how is it? It's a 36pack for 14.99$ 16x16 size. .41cents a towel.

Here's a picture of what it looks like. Mitt and Aerospace just came in as well!

they work well for interior and door jambs, but for windows/polishing they don't quite cut it.. I use em for cleaning the chain on my motorcycle! they work wonderful for that!

They will be fine for pet detailing, but for auto detailing, I wouldn't use them for anything other than the interior.

yeah it sounds like they would make good throw away MFs.. when you had to use one to clean up something really nasty or gunky and didn't want to ruin a good mf.

i run into that situation alot actually so these could come in handy.

I agree, they lint alot and it scratched my paint while using a qd.

haven't had good luck with those towels, most all the ones i have the stitching on the corners would come apart. i use them for door jams, wheels, etc...

I have quite a few of the Costco towels also and use them like the rest of the responders.

Hold a Danase PHAT microfiber in one hand and the Costco version in the other hand and the difference is night and day. The Danase PHAT does the high end tasks, the Costco ones do the low end jobs.

It's wise to have both in your towel arsenal.

I have them and I think they're pretty good. I have some Meguiar's Supreme Shine towels and can't really tell the difference between the two.

I have them and use them on a variety of things. Some probably not the best of ideas. On darker cars I just use them for wheels and stuff, but on my titanium silver BMW I use them for the works. Quick detailing, wax removal etc. They don't seem to marr the paint (be sure to tear off each of the labels before you start using them) and they're essentially disposable. I like having a few in my trunk for bird attacks, and with my color car I can get away with a lot. Also, my car has never had any real correction work done, so when I eventually get my rotary and bring it to the next level I'll probably move to better towels.

I used them on my windows before and they left a lot of lint and that was after a half dozen washes. I use them for the engine bay or the wheels.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will use them for the interior/wheels. Fedex came with two boxes for me of detailing supplies, hooray.

now im scared. i bought a 3 pack of MF towels from Auto Zone and a 4 pack from Target. havent used them yet since im waiting on my products to arrive.
