The headers are now wrapped, and look alot better than the ones in teh pic.

oh, in that last body panel picture, those are IN THE METAL, and was painted over.

seems the previous owner failed to tell me about any body work...

now that the paint is clean, they stick out a bit more...its driving me crazy.

will be fixed in the near future.

Looks really good man! I Just bought the Autogeek.net swirl remover kit/w 7424 PC buffer. I have a good amount of swirls on my 06 Cobalt SS/SC that I can't stand to look at anymore. Im looking to take a few days in the spring to give it a thorough detail. Again, looks great!

Nicely done! Sweet looking ride. I'm going to be working on my wife's 2000 Focus this spring with my newly acquired 7424. Her car is a swirly rain-etched disaster ... in black! Can't wait until the weather warms up.

Nice looking Ford Focus SVT. The Black Wheels and the Carbon Fiber Hood look great. Great job correcting the paint surface.

Thanks!

the Griots garage stuff and shamrocks came from yall.

Got another order en route from yall already!

what are your impressions of the new griots random orbital?

well, i only have a craftsman orbital buffer to compare it too, so it is no comparison..lol.

I did mess around with my buddies PC7424, and they feel the same. the Griots orbitals handle is definately better, if you even use it. The griots does have noticably more power than the PC (when you press down its harder to keep it from spinning).

All in all, its pretty much the same machine, just with a few more amps, and a power switch in a different location.

I got a smokin deal on the Griots, and it has a lifetime warranty.

oh, got your box today, thanks!

Just wanted to mention that if you interested in doing a bit more correction, you can step up to a more aggressive polish/pad combo before you need a rotary. I think #9 isn't very aggressive?

Anyhow, great job! You don't happen to go to Penn College do you?

its not that aggressive, and i only had the red and orange pads that came with the DA.

I now have Megs 105/205 combo on the way, with new pads.

Meguiars Ultra Polish Kit with 5.5 Inch Pads, Meguiars Mirror Glaze Polishes, Meguiar's Polish Kit, 5.5 inch buffing pad kit

i dont plan on taking a rotary to this paint.

and no, i dont goto Penn.
