I’ve been lurking in these forums for awhile now, and this would constitute my first post :wavey

Wife was nagging me for items I forgot to pickup on my way home from work. Mumbling a few pleasant words under my breath, I flipped on the light switch as I entered my garage. Looked up above the hood of my pearl white 350Z and an array of swirl marks were smirking down at me - welcoming my entrance. Since then, my nights were circumscribe here on Autopia - beating my brain with new jargons; AIO, DA, SR12, 7424 #14, #22, Z12s, Z12w, etc.

My subscription to the self-help articles have informed just as much as it has confused. Like being a wet sponge watching Jerry Springer on late-night televisoin, my brain unconsciously reiterate Sonus = Good/everything else = Bad. So here I am pleading for some sanity and wisdom, how do I get rid of swirl marks on a pearl white car?

Things I have

  • Mequiar's GC Wash
  • Clay Magic Detailing Kit
  • Meguiars #16 Professional Carnauba Paste Wax

Things I plan to get:

  • Porter 7424
  • __?___ polishing pad
  • __?___ paint polish
  • __?___ finishingpad
  • __?___
  • __?___

So please Autopians, PIMP my paint! :chuckle:
