Claying above UPGP?

pampos- It depends on which clay and how you use it.

*NOTING THAT I'VE NEVER USED UPGP*...I clay my LSPs with Sonus Green all the time (literally spot-clay at every wash) and it doesn't compromise LSPs that are in remotely good condition. Prior to the Sonus green coming out, I used more aggressive clays without stripping my LSPs (and I did this for well over a decade).

Yesterday I used Sonus green, much more aggressively than normal, on many-months-old Collinite and it was still OK afterwards (I did refresh it though, that's why I was claying so aggressively).

Use plenty of lube and virtually no pressure; think of it as "cleaning the UPGP" as opposed to "cleaning the paint".

dude stop waisting your PGP

wash, clay, polish then add your lsp

I think I read that you added like three coats

then you have post about polishing deep scratches and claying

just do it the correct way the first time
