Carpet extractors

I've been wanting one of these for quite a while now. I couldn't help but notice how rediculously high the prices are for the "professional" models (from topoftheline or pretty much any other professional line). They are all around $800-$1000. I was thinking of spending $200 max. Is the bissel big green pretty good? It's only $119 and has a bunch of attatchments. What does everyone else use?

I posted this very same question a month ago. I got mixed reviews on the Bissell. Do a search on steam cleaners and you will see the thread in question.

We had a carpet steamer around the house, i think a Hoover steam vac, didnt work super well, not bad but it was easier and i got better results by just using EF Uphosltry cleaner, a stiff brush and a good Shop Vac.
