Car Show Last Saturday..."Best Engine"

This was the first show of the season here in the Kansas City Area.....

There were 150 cars at the Grain Valley "Project Grad" Car Show.... lots of chrome, flames, graphics.

At the end of the day, when the winners were announced, my name was called for the "Best Engine" trophy!

Considering the competion I faced, I was thrilled.........

A good start to the season.

**** I love that car. Any tips you could give me to pass on to my bro? He has a Regal GS with the L67, same engine bay ect. I bet he'd like to get his that sparkly.

Bill I have seen other pictures of your engine compartment and have been impressed. Congratulations on a well deserved award.

Excellent! Is that a Suzuki ATV I see in the picture with a Rebel flag seat!

Looks like some of the car shows I go to here in Kentucky. :P

Hey....it takes all kinds I guess:D

There was everything from a 1918 Original Ford pickup, to muscle cars of the 60's & 70's, to newer customs.

Best of Show ended up being a 1999 Black on Black Chevy pickup, 8-inch lift, HUGE tires, COMPLETELY DETAILED UNDERCARIAGE. lots of chrome, custom Audio/Video system....the works. Very nice truck. Well-deserved.

Congrats! :xyxthumbs

I think the effect of your super colorful engine compartment is accentuated by the fact that your body color is a subdued black. Open the hood and POW! it's like getting hit with a lightning bolt of color! Great job!
