ok whats the difference between an acrylic polymer and a synthetic polymer, i know an acrylic polish is something like Klasse i dont remember seeing anything if it had polymers in it or not. A synthetic polymer would be something more like NXT. can any one explain the differences between the 2 on looks and durability.

synthetic polymer is like saying 'natural artificial flavor' or 'genuine immitation'. Synthetic wax is generally what polymers are called. Maybe that is where you got the synthetic part from.

Anyway, the difference between acrylic sealants and polymer sealants are in the chemistry. I don't really know more than that. I just wanted to comment on the 'synthetic' part. I'm going to hit the search and see what I can come up with. I remember somebody explaining this awhile back, but I can't remember the details either.

i called pinnacle the other day and the guy seemed well versed in the knowledge of that... i just want to know if hes right, next time if i call ill record the call then post so we can see if thats correct info..

They are one in the same. A polymer wax is a wax containing synthetic polymers. An acrylic wax is one type of polymer system, You have polyurethanes, silicones, tons of them........
