I bought a new UDM machine off Ebay and have done quite a bit of searching to figure out what exactly it is I have here.
It's a Model UDM-1000-NA Rev. 1.0. with a 4.2 amp motor. It appears the on/off switch is upgraded. I say that because it is recessed below the casing and doesn't feel like I would be able to turn it on by accident.
I went to UDMs website and read the specs. It states 3.7 amps. So the older Rev 1.0 versions were more powerful? That seemed strange.
Also I'm curious about the counterweight. The one I have doesn't look to have one. I attached a 6.5" pad and turned it on and it didn't seem to vibrate at all. Of course I didn't "use" the machine, I just turned it on and went through the speeds to make sure it actually worked.
I think I got a pretty decent deal. $130 shipped and it included 4 LC CCS Pads (not real crazy about the dimpled pads but I also have a couple of Megs 2.0 pads), Pinnacle Conditioner and Pinnacle pad cleaner, a couple of MF towels and a carrying case.
Now if this freaky late winter storm we're having would get out of here so I can put this thing to use!
