BF over Z2 over BF over Z...

I just can't make up my mind! But, I am now convinced these two systems (Zaino and Blackfire) are quite compatable.

This is an interesting comparison, although in the BF over Z picture it is very cloudy and a light mist is falling...

Hey jps:

Glad someone's starting testing of BF with other products. I plan to test it with PPCL and AIO / SG in the spring when I get it but for now I'll just have to pick your brain ;).

Since the pictures look so different (I thought it was a different car at first) can you give us descriptions of what you think of either way? Did BF over Z give Z a deeper look? Did Z over BF add that crazy Zaino shine? Give us word pictures ;)

I'd love to hear your opinion on this.

There are advantages to each product IMO, and you are right on with both of your questions. BF over Z does give a deeper look and Zaino over Blackfire does add that crazzzy zzzany shine. The Z shine makes it hard to photograph.

The color change you see in the pictures is in large part due to the lighting condition - its one of the things I like about the Agean Blue Pearl, BUT it is also due to the difference in reflectivity, optical clarity and perhaps thickness of the protectant. I will try to get a picture under similar lighting conditions if the weather cooperates.

I "think" the Z is extremely thin, and the BF only very very thin (i.e. several times as thick as the Z.) I did get a deeper look with several layers of Z5, but nothing as dramatic as the BF.
