Anyone wanna take a stab at explaining the 4* line up to me?

So Danase.com has a smoking deal on the 7 part Four Star's's line up, retail at over $100, their price, like $70.

Does the Ultimate Swirl Mark Remover or Ultimate Paint Cleanser dust?

How do they compare to the Optimum compound/polish duo?

Does USMR finish nice enough to go straight to the Ult Paint Protection next?

Do you guys like their tire shine? How about compared to PB's B&B or Optimum

s Tire Shine?

How about their professional line of light and medium cut compounds? Are those comparable to optimum?

Sure I can help you. I've emailed rick and gary of four star many times and purchased alot of their stuff. Still got six 1.89 litre bottles of paint cleanser sitting there ready to go

Ultimate paint cleanser does not dust and is awesome

Very creamy formula and takes out baby to fine swirls and marring without removing much paint. Maybe a few microns but that's about it

You could use as much as you like. I plan on just using that and prime on my car from next year as I am trying to make this car's paint last at least 20 years if not double that

No matter what pad you use it with, it has a good working time and the lubricants make your pad glide along with ease. Very close to working with VM. Effortless to manouver the machine.

Probably it's market would be to guys with old cars with original paint thats on the thin side due to years of polishing.

If anyone gets some, make sure you shake the bottle hard and fast for 30 seconds before using it.

Have not tried SMR yet

The gloss enhancer is very slick. Maybe not as much as prima or FK1 425 but is still a lovely product. There are alot of detail sprays out there that don't come close to it

Plus it's great for windows too.

In the past I have used it in between machine polishing steps to give the paint more pop and wetness

it is not just some lube and water. It really does have gloss enhancing properties.

Auto wash has the best scent of any shampoo I've tried and I have tried many over the years. Similar to cherry ripe

It did take some of the slickness away from my paint each wash but then again slickness to me is everything. I don't care how shiny it is, if it ain't super slick 24/7 365 days a year I am not happy.

For the majority of members here it would not be a problem.

The Tire gel I was about to order but when our #1 member dave took over distributorship I didn't get any. Hope to soon

I have been told by rick all about it and I still want to see how it goes against sonus which is my favourite gel.

Mr Danase will be my man to go to when I order the body shop line of polishes shortly

They look great and I expect nothing but greatness from them. FS has never let me down and I use the ultimate line professionally.

The leather cleaner and the protectant gel are awesome. The cleaner goes all sudsy with some pressure applied and strips all the body oil emulsion right off.

The smell they both leave is like new leather. YUMMM

As to the pro line. My favourite is carpet & upholstery cleaner 1 gallon

I have managed to get disgusting floor mats so clean by hand that they look like they have been cleaned with a pro wet vac machine

Sure they don't get talked about much these days but I'm sure the guys are working hard on some new and exciting products in the lab

Thanks much for the reply. It seems that the 4* line is more towards finishing/sealing rather than defect removal. Which is fine of course, but then a heavier polish will be needed for most cars with normal marred finishes. Do you have a particular preference?
