Am I asking too much?

Hi folks

Just started using my PC this afternoon, and am learning fast and enjoying it immensly. For the pics below, I used Sonus SFX1 with the SFX1 pad, then SFX2 with the SFX2 pad, then finally SFX3 with the SFX3 pad. I used 3 to begin, then moved to 5 on the PC, for each different polish.

However there are still some small scratches (caused by improper washing). Am I being too fussy or can you advise what I am doing wrong? Many thanks.

I think its a compromise! The better finish you are after the more effort it takes and themore clear coat you need to remove!

Depends how fastidious you are really!

Nobody's ever perfect on their first few tries. You made some nice progress there. It is a compromise, and eventually you learn that complete perfection is something you should strive for, but learn to accept a few defects here or there. When owning a dark-colored car, that's part of the territory.

I'd say just keep working on your technique. Try cranking the PC up to 6, add a bit of pressure, be sure to work the polishes until they flash, and make multiple passes if necessary.
