all detailing products.. GONE!

:mad: hello everybody..after visiting danaseforums and hearing about autopia i decided to share what had happened to me. 4 days ago was the worse day ever. After a long day of detailing, I finally arrived at home and unloaded all my products. i left all my products outside because i had to open the garage from the inside. i walk in, grab a bite to eat and look at the mail. i go back outside and everything is gone. I didnt see anybody on the streets. These are the products that were stolen!



AJT, Optimum Polish, Optimum Compound, Optimum Poli-seal, Zaino z5pro, Zaino Clear-seal, ZFX, Clearkote Carnuaba Wax, Souveran Paste Wax, menzerna 106ff, and nattys blue!



that is so much money put to waste!! ahh this sucks!!

serious.. i left the products outside at the most for 15 minutes... ugh..
 
:sadwavey: But your ok, people these days will do anything if thay think they can make some money fast. Just be glad they did not jump you. That stuff can all be replaced but your health is the most important. Like i tell my girl friend always think like it is going to happine. Im glad your ok. Sucks to hear about all of your stuff, detailing supplies is not cheap this bug that has bitten me has planted its self on my Visa. I could not imagine how mad you are. Sorry:sadpace:
 
ttsoca's right, it's good you're safe. Money you can replace, but life you cannot. It's good to hear you're safe. You can replace those items that you just lost. It's really messed up what those people stole from you. I would be furious if the same thing happened to me. You will regain the items that were stolen from you, but of course you will have to buy them again :(
 
To help a new member I'm sure we all have some extra stuff we can send to help tide him over. I'm starting off with some Natty's Blue and Optimum Poli-Seal. I first read about his plight over at the Danase forum.
 
Sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you're okay. I was in that situation a couple of weeks ago; I was really down when my rotary got stolen. It just plain sucks to have something taken from you.:wall
 
Look for any newly polished cars in the neighborhood and ask to see the supplies used...maybe you'll find your stuff. ??



Seriously, tho, sorry to hear about the rip off. If I hadn't just sold all my unused stuff I'd send you some.
 
That stinks...and I feel your pain (although at a much smaller level)



I had a Chritmas gift stolen out of my mailbox or my doorstep. It was USPS, so they were no help. I usually request UPS or FedEx as they include insurance (and often are cheaper anyways). I wasn't about to pay 2 dollars insurance for a 10 dollar item.



I doubt they even know what they took...can you pawn high end detailing equipment? Might be interesting to see if these items pop up on ebay

i know.. people are sick.. people have problems!!
 
Im suprised anyone would steal that stuff, the majority of the general public wouldnt even know what that stuff is.



Im tryin to picture what your setup is. Is your garage close to the street?

yeah my garage is close to the street.. yeah i was suprised also knowing that people would steal stuff they dont even need!
 
My garage is the same way, its so close to the street i cant leave anything out for more than a split second.
 
file a police report first of all. If you ever do find the products then it will be important to have that step covered.



Did you just leave everything in a box by your house? At least they didn't get any of your tools or towels or even worse, your vehicle. Given the choices I'd rather loose a couple hundred bucks worth of products than a several thousand dollar vehicle.

yeah actually everything was in a bucket... i unloaded everything off my truck and left it on the driveway.. i went inside for 15 mins and came out and nothing was there..
