A QD question

yah.. but unfortunately I won't have it by the time my 2 layers of SG are on.. I ask because i'm kinda in a bind as my Klasse Twins is being shipped next week from within canada and if I order from properautocare, their lead times to my address are 3-4 weeks.. .. <sigh> hence my question about a substitute ?



I'll just use some z6 and see what happens ? then if that does not work, i'll use some s100 QD and see what happens..

The Sonus acrylic spritz is the complement to the Klasse AIO/SG products.



Another option is to use a QD that does not contain carnuba. The idea is that the carnuba would interfere with bonding of additional layers of SG.



My two favorite QDs when working with a Klasse finish are the Sonus Acrylic Spritz and Meguiars Final Inspection. The FI is just a QD and does not replenish the acrylic layer.

Why are you in a bind .. a QD as far as I know is not a necessity with SG. Your SG isn't going to leap off the fender if it doesn't get a QD.
 
The only time I will is *right* after a wash .. otherwise the slightest but of dust swirls it.. your lucky your not dealing with black .. I wonder how many light cars are hazed all to heck from QDing between washes and they just don't know it.
 
P21S (S100) will work as a wax topper on Klasse, wax dosn't last that long anyway, but it does give a depth of shine. I've never used Z6 without te 'rest of the gang' but I'm sure it will work as well as any other QD
 
Almost any non-carnauba QD should work with the Klasse, they're just not "special" like the way Sonus and Z6 are supposed to be...

No, I use Final Detail. I wonder why 4DSC wrote what he wrote. I hope he chimes in.



Since I use S100 as a topper, I wonder why a detailer that contains carnuba would be a problem?
