303 on exterior trim??

I used it on my H2. Looks great on all the black plastic. Nice satin new look. My H2 sits outside and when it rains the 303 shows water runs. I use 1Z Tephenfledger now , it looks a bit deeper but it runs too! I might try PB trim restore but i have a feeling that every dressing thats applied outside will run. Now, I dont have this problem with my GN which never sees rain! For a daily driver you will probably need to re apply 303 every wash.

I don't like to use 303 on the exterior either. It just seems to wash away whenever it gets wet.

I just started using PB's Trim Restorer. I can't say how it stands up against water yet though. I'm going to wash the car I used it on today so I should know more after that.

i uses 303 exclusively on weather seals, for exterior trim i use PBs Trim Restorer or Top Of The Line's Clear Shield after cleaning with GR-40. i've never really liked 303's sheen too much on the interior myself.

303 is great but does not seem to last very long on exterior trim. Autoglym's bumber shine is my standard product for exterior use

What about Forever Black?

Forever Black will forever be in my trash :lol

You're better off getting a good trim cleaner and dressing(e.g. TR and GR-40). I found FB to do nothing in terms of restoring trim. It washed right off after the first wash. If your trim is really hideous and faded, you might want to try TOL's trim cleaner/dye. But take my experience with FB with a grain of salt...others may have had better results with it ;)

I have found 303 to be excellent on exterior trim. I even put it on my old, large, plastic mail box last summer and it still looks new today. It is several years old and started to look grey and weathered so I tried 303 and the stuff is amazing. Haven't reapplied 303 since I put it on last August! I have never seen any signs of "running" or "weathering." ...with my cars or mailbox!

yeah i use 303 on exterior..2.5 years later my exterior trim looks mint, compared to others with the same year car that looks faded. i dont notice it running, i take me l like less than 20 sprays to do entire exterior including tires and mudguards....less is more
