Merlin:
I know I have asked this question before, but how long does it take with infrared light exposure to "cure" the CQUARTZ ceramic coating you apply, and does that amount of time vary with:
1) Ambient weather conditions like temperature and humidity levels;
2) Age of the paint;
3) Color of the paint (IE, do dark colors cure faster than light colors).
I will make this general assumption that MOST detailing hobbyist do NOT have IR lamps for coating curing and rely on ambient sunlight UV for such curing when they apply a ceramic coating. I also assume that this is WHY ceramic coating manufacturers only allow professional detailers with IR lamps to buy and use high-end pro-grade coatings.
(Yes, Virginia, sometimes you do get what you pay for!)

Nice detailing on the grey Bronco. Difficult to make grey look so reflective. At least this grey is darker, and not the hue of Battleship Grey that seems to be the "in" hue for new vehicles these days! (Yes, I "dislike" that hue along with the Army Green. OK on military vehicles but not for me. But I digress....)

May you never loose that palm tree for your signature "Merlin Shot" photos.
