2009 Audi A5

This is with only 4 layers of the SG on it. I haven't entered the 21st century yet so I am still using a regular camera with film which explains the quality. But I think it is pretty good shine for a white car. It looks tons better in person especially since I have twice as many coats on now and soon to have Pinnacle paste glaz as well. I have been excited to post this picture so tell me what you think.

Edit: Let's try this one...

Ok...we'll try this. :D I should have tried this at the beginning. Sorry about that. What photo hosting sites do you use that work?? Photopoint doesn't work anymore and MSN doesn't either it seems.

The link works if you cut and paste it into your browser but does not seem to work if you just click on it.

Looks great, super shine!

Also, I've found it easier to attach pics in the post using the "attach file" option at the bottom of the page where you write the message...

blue skies,

I'll get better pictures taken once I get the Pinnacle on. I just thought that I got a pretty good shine for a white car. I love Klasse. :D

Holy geez, you spend lots of time and elbow grease getting your hood looking so good only to put a bra on it to scuff and mar all your hard work? Shame shame. ;)

I know that bras can be bad but I spend a lot of time making sure that mine doesn't do any damage. It comes off everytime I wash it. I make sure that the finish underneath gets extra special care when I detail it. I spend way more time taking care of the areas under the bra than most people I think. It is better than the alternative of the rock chips and acid bugs that we have here in Utah. I have done too many cars that are all chiped up from the construction or the paint is melted because of this weird bug we have to not protect my front end. Besides, if the damage is under the bra then nobody can see it, eh? ;)

I have heard of it. I really like the look of the black on white though. I guess I am just too old school. Maybe someday I will wise up but for now I think I'll keep it.

Here is an Audi A5 I detailed almolst a week ago. The owner is putting the car away for the winter and wanted it protected and the interior cleaned up a bit since he is putting the car away for the winter.

Process:

Wash wheels, tires, and wells with Meguiars Wheel Brightener, APC Plus, and various brushes in a bucket of warm water

Wash the car with Meguiars Shampoo Plus and a Meguiars Microfiber Wash mitt, two bucket method with grit guards.

Clay with Meguiars Mild Blue Clay and Last Touch at 1:1.

Clean the paint with Meguiars M66 Quick Detailer Cleaner Wax via the G110, four W8207 Meguiars Soft Buff polishing pads were used. Meguiars M26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax by hand was followed an hour later.

Tailpipe was cleaned with APC and a brush, then polished with Meguiars Hot Rims Mag and Aluminum Polish and a terry cloth. That was followed with a coat of Meguiars Cleaner Wax for protection.

Tires were dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Gel. Wheelwells were dressed with Hyperdressing at 3:1.

Interior and trunk were vaccumed, the floor mats got a good scrubbing with APC and a toilet brush, rinsed with warm water. The rest of the interior was wiped down with Quik Interior Detailer. All glass was cleaned with Meguiars Quik Glass Cleaner. The door and trunk jambs were cleaned with Meguiars Last Touch and a Supreme Shine Microfiber.

Excellent work.
If you like M66 you need to try D-151 Reconditioning Cream. Cuts like 205 with excellent protection. I use it as one awesome burnishing polish.

Nice clean up Camo! Let me apologize in advance to some of my fellow bimmer heads but I love the looks of the new Audi coupes.
