1Z and WG question

it was my first time...
I have a question regarding 1Z PP and WG pre-wax cleaner polisher. I was going to do 1Z PP then WG pre-wax cleaner then WG Sealant for lighter cars. Mainly my parent's van and my sister's new car, both which are beige. Would those 3 steps work good? I'm wondering because I believe 1Z PP has some wax in it, i'm wondering if the WG pre-wax will be removing it?? Should I switch the combo to WG pre-wax cleaner then 1Z PP then Sealant??? Or should I just do it as 1Z PP then WG Sealant???

Not sure, what do you think?

1Z PP has carnuba wax in it. I would do PP and then wipe down with a solution of alcohol and water. Then prewax and sealant. I don't think the sealant will bond with carnuba. Good luck.

I haven't tried WG, so I dunno if it'll bond to the 1Z (but lots of products *do* bond just fine). Use the 1Z first. Try the WG sealant over it. If it doesn't bond (the WG will seem like an oily film that never really "dries", just smears around), then use the WG pre cleaner to remove the 1Z's waxes. But no matter what, use the 1Z polish first, it's gonna have the more aggressive abrasives by far.

Alcohol wash IMO is an added step that isn't required. The pre-wax cleaner should clean all that up for you. Why clean something that a "cleaner" will remove......??
