    Removing orange peel - will clear cover it?

    I sprayed a base coat of paint this morning and it has some orange peel. Should I sand it smooth *before* I clear coat? Or, should I clear coat over it and smooth out the clear by wet sanding?

    Preventing orange peel

    In your experience, what's the best way to prevent orange peel in the first place when spraying paint? Should I be adding more or less thinner to the paint mixture? Should I be applying more thin coats, or less coats with medium coverage per coat? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Duplicolor primer as a base for catalyzed paint?

    As a result of a failed spray gun, in haste I sprayed the area I repaired with body filler with Duplicolor rattle-can primer to offer a small bit of protection. It sanded out ok, but my inexperience makes me question if the good catalyzed paint I will be applying soon will have trouble adhering...
