    How long does it take for you to clay?

    Read an article today where they interviewed Barry Meguiar about proper car care, he said claying is essential and is quick. He said it can be done in 20 minutes. I am doing something wront cause it takes me over an hour to clay my car. I do small areas like 12x12, etc.

    Pics of my Eldo after PC

    I finally got around to detailing my car with my new Porter Cable buffer. I used a medium cut pad from lake county with 3M fine cut rubbing compound, 3M hand glaze and finished it with Pinnacle Souvern wax. Also I have a few pics of my girlfriend's 2002 Solara. Let me know what you think.

    Claying before buffing?

    Hey guys, I used my PC for the first time this weekend. I first clayed the car followed by 3M fine cut rubbing compound, then 3M hand glaze then I finished it off with Pinnacle wax. It came out really nice. My question is is claying necessary if you are buffing out a car with rubbing compound...

    ? about bonnets and pads

    I have a pc 7336 and I am going to change to a velcro backer plate soon, this may sound stupid but do you use the pads to apply the product and bonnets to remove it? I am just confused on what to use for the application and removal of product. Thanks

    pc 7424 vs. 7336

    Which is better and what are the differences? I heard the 7224 has a 5" counter weight and the 7336 has a 6"
