Has Edge ever considered making a 2000 system adapter for the dual mode machines such as the Makita BO6040 or Festool RO 150? Plans exist for fabricating your own, but it would be nice to have a factory direct piece that came with a warranty :)

With the Festool RO 150 or Makita BO6040 "dual mode" machines are you pretty much stuck with what the manufacturer makes for backing plates? I know about the Edge 2000 adapter conversion to make it fit, but is there any other option?

For a light colored off-white/ivory color, would Poorboy's Pro Polish or AIO give better results as far as cleaning the paint goes? Or would AIO -> Poorboy's PP be worth doing?
