Poppies and Vice Grip Garage make wipe on clearcoats that might work for larger areas.

Setec, I polished the spot afterwards. No etching surprisingly.

Chemical Guys waterless wash is pretty good for bird bombs. I did have some serious bird crap that wouldn't come off. I resorted to Sprayway glass cleaner, mf towel and a plastic interior trim tool.

It might depend on the machine. I've gotten some light halos from my Hercules forced rotation polisher.

I'd wait at least a month after paint before doing a coating just to be safe.

I got some Suds Lab ceramic soap to use in a cheapo foam sprayer. Produced decent foam.

I recently use TW One and Done Compound. Removed light scratches easily. I think finishing polish would leave a higher gloss finish on black.

I think coatings look more like a hard candy shell. If you want dripping wet Wolfgang Sio2 spray will give you what you want.

Maybe try the Cerakote tire sealant. It isn't overly glossy.

ZAIO is good but doesn't really do correction. And all the AIO's really need a topper.

You can get the Griots pads at Autozone as well.

Griots makes a fine red pad.

Well, paint depth is thinner than in the past.

I know back in the late 90's a lot of white vehicles had issues with peeling paint. I suspect the ongoing paint issues have to do with VOC compliant ingredients that aren't as good as previously used products.
