I have used a lot of Tuf Shine products and have Seen the Brown come Out of tires, and with repeated cleaning with the Cleaner, it went away... :)

Yeah, I know is an old review... The guy said it was a Sealant, and it is sold as such, but he kept referring to it as a Coating, which it is not... Sealant+ "Ceramic" ?? = Sealant....

Tks for your post !!! I have been using Tuf Shine since it first came out and it has absolutely been the best for my needs... You need to use Their Cleaner, and keep cleaning and rinsing, until the rinse water is clear. Then, when they are dry, apply their Coating using a sponge that does not...

What I don't know is how thick was this coating applied to the paintwork? Seems like if you put a lot of it on there, of course, it will have to take longer to flash....

We used a lot of the Dupont Prep-Sol in the 70's to clean the panels/etc., ready to primer and then later, ready to paint.. And hundreds of tack-rags, as we called them back then... It worked really good...

Did you ask the people how do they Know, there is more room to correct ? Did they Measure the total thickness ? Perhaps you can find a real Detailer that has a good, calibrated, paint thickness gauge, and measure all around that area, and tell you in Microns, how much is there... This alone...

It looks like you don't have much clear coat left on all the paint... Have you used a good, paint thickness gauge to measure in Microns, how much total thickness you have??? I would not as a Detailer, want to do anything to this paint if I measured it and found out the total thickness was...

Congrats on the new Mini Cooper !!! New paint will bead really good for awhile, without anything on it... I remember Simoniz wax from around 60 years ago... And yes, if you go all the way around your paint with Meguiars 205, and some good foam pads, you will have removed whatever they may...
