    Best High Gloss Tire Shine.

I would use a coating, no worry about that turning brown if can get the prep to come out right. I don't think there is much difference between coatings, Tuf Shine, McKee's, Optimum, Armour Detail Supply, they should all give you pretty similar results. If you are looking for something local...

My thought is I'm not going to waste 5 minutes watching that.

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

Dan, thanks for doing that side-by-side, should be interesting, particularly if that TEC580 performs well, as you say the TEC582 does, as the price point on the TEC580 is super-low. The price point on the Cerakote is also pretty good, relative to other big-name coatings, but the TEC580 is 1/3...

    I have become a detailing heretic…

Dan--you are talking about the TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray, right? I see (at Amazon) they also have a ceramic coating for $33, as well as the G-Max graphene coating and spray detailer. EDIT--oh, sorry, I see the 582 IS the detail spray, I thought that was part of the name, the other products I...

Sumthin’ cool for us old coots - Challenger TA

Oh, we had the Mercury version, the Colony Park. Ours was blue, with the blue vinyl interior. I don't remember the fiberglass, but the faux-wood vinyl wrap on the sides/back.

I'm trying to remember if I still have any VM--I think I still have a bit of QuikShine, that stuff was great for cleaning the windshield in the winter.

    PANEL WIPES

I can't find anything here https://detailsupplywhse.com/ that resembles a Clearkote product--is that the place? I don't think there is any similarity there--Prep-All is a petroleum distillate product, while the Optimum Paint Prep is propanol-based (IPA & propyl alcohol).

I don't think Lonnie meant Prep-Sol, which is/was a DuPont product, he was referring to Klean-Strip Prep-All that Dr. G formulated when he worked at Klean-Strip briefly between PPG and starting OPT.

    Wheel Coatings

Really? People have suggested the possibility of that but I have been skeptical. I have coated wheels before balancing, but that was with Opti-Coat 2.0 which was not a slick coating.

Looking for paint correction and interior deep clean in Orange County, CA

He's in Pasadena, but Joe Fernandez at Superior Shine comes to mind: https://www.facebook.com/SuperiorShineCeramicCoating/ I'm not sure what's going on, but there is another guy in San Diego using the Superior Shine name, that's not Joe.

    1961 Triumph TR3

That's just crazy! I can't even begin to understand how someone could make that as a one-off, even if it was aluminum.
