    Best High Gloss Tire Shine.

AA Tire Foam given its driven on dirt roads. That stuff will make even brown nasty old tires look good and it last through weeks of driving in rain, it really trails off nicely leaving a matte black finish. Any other non water based solution will turn into a nasty mess after exposure to dirt...

    Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant

Time to take one step forward, maybe one or two back. I'm going to backtrack a bit on the Tire Coating, its actually good stuff, its quickly climbing my list. I think my previous experience was due to not speding the time to get back to virgin rubber. Some changes of opinion: + Nice factory...

Nice job, that white looks great after you cleaned it up. Those cars are eye watering expensive for those that don't know...

Waterdrop WD-CWE-RF-B Review – Budget DI Hero or Di Door stop?

TL;DR (For the Read-and-Run Types): Waterdrop WD-CWE-RF-B: solid CR Spotless alternative with real bypass and standard size filters. Refurb direct from Waterdrop on eBay: $150 shipped, arrived looking brand new. TDS dropped from 59ppm to 3ppm with strong flow; minor MNPT-to-GHT quirk, easily...

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

The 580 is very cheap, like almost Mr Fix 9h cheap! I'm toying with the idea of coating part of my green power box out front (shhhh don't tell the power company) with a few different coatings to see how they endure pure neglect. I think my neighbor has some Adams I can use too, but I really...

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

So I'd like to see if Cerakote is really that non stick that it is repelling anything on top like it is on the red car above. To do that I cleaned up the hood here and preped it for a coating. The passenger side gets Cerakote, Driver Tec580. I'm going to let them run solo for a while to see...

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

It does and that almost seems too good to be true. More testing required before I come to that conclusion.

    I have become a detailing heretic…

Yes, the Ceramic Detail Spray. This stuff: And yes, it seems they didn't spend a lot on marketing. I got the ceramic coating, I have yet to use it. I passed on the Graphene spray detailer as a lot of reviews say don't waste your money, just get the Ceramic detailer.

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

Good point, some people really over apply, I read a review of this stuff where someone used both bottles, IIRC that's 60ml to do a small SUV.

    I have become a detailing heretic…

I get the keeping it simple, and Griots makes great stuff. I too tried to avoid Tec582. It sounds like one of those products with the guy yelling in the corny youtube video. Combine that with the fact that the MSDS looks like the same old bag of tricks in a bottle. What doesn't lie is all...

    I have become a detailing heretic…

Accumulator, I think you would be surprised at some of the newer products, you know how much I loved OCW, but even that has become irrelevant to me. The spray ceramic stuff like Tec582 stuff came out of nowhere and its just making everything irrelevant, even coatings. I drove 400 miles, about...

    I have become a detailing heretic…

Bumping this thread up again because I was thinking about it and how much truth there is here. You can probably argue a little on the actual percentages, but the reality is a washed car is the large majority of the look. That last 1% is a fools game. One which I am stuck in. I'm trying to be...

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

One observation about this coating is that it doesn't seem to like anything on top, I've gotten some pretty strong streaking using two very forgiving products, Tec582 and TWHS Ceramic Wet Wax. It seems like it repelled both, they just sit on the surface and can be buffed off. The paint feels...

    Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

Shrug, I'm the luckiest diy detailer there is I guess. I rarely have problems. Maybe it's that crazy test spot thing I do. Anytime I see someone complaining about a product's performance after they did a whole car, I think just a wee bit less of them.
