    Is this ok to do? I ordered 3M SMR for dark colors since I have a dark green car, but my dad has a silver car and his wife a beige color car. Would it be ok to use this on their cars too? Thanks for any help.

    It will work fine. You might get some dark color residue in the crack and crevices though. If so just wash it out.
