I just bought a pre-owned Lexus LS 400 and wanted to know where I could find Mother`s clay (seems to be the clay of choice)locally? I really want to do it tomorrow so ordering online is out of the question.

Advanced Auto does not carry any clay at all. Any others?

Advance Auto just added it to their assortment. The planogram resets Feb 15-Mar 1 depending on the location.

You can also find it at Pep Boys. It looks like they have a store near you at:

    4320 HIGH POINT ROAD GREENSBORO NC 27407 336 632-0194

    Hope that helps.

Try AutoZone if there are some nearby. My local AZ superstore has Mother`s clay kits. Might try Pep Boys too if they are in your area.

Also, I`d call local paint/body shops and ask about Clay Magic. Supposedly, it`s a better clay than Mother`s.

Pep Boys in Raleigh sells them too. There`s one on Glenwood Ave. and there`s another one on Capitol Blvd.

It`s a pretty common product - if a retail location sells Mother`s products, then they should have the clay kit.

I`ve seen it at AutoZone, Pep Boys, R&S Strauss, and Napa to name a few.

Ya, I saw it at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago and got really excited to see that they were carying a clay bar!! Naturally, I bought the box, which had the clay bar, QD (not great), and cleaner wax. It was $13 at Wal-Mart, and I saw the same thing at Pep Boys for $18.

I was just at Pep Boys the other day and they had the kit. It was $18 and included:

One large bottle of Mothers QD (Red bottle)

    One Yellow clay bar

One tiny bottle of Mothers Cleaner Wax

$13 for the Mother`s Clay Kit at Wal-Mart is a good deal. That`s the lowest price I`ve seen so far. The lowest I found was at Kragen`s for $15.
