windshield water stain

Hi.

I am a newbie here, hope someone can help me.



The windshield & windows of my car have several water

stain/marks and they are visible when there is moisture on them.

BTW I live in Boston.



For exmaple, if it is raining and the wipers are used, there are several nasty water stain show up.

Also if you try to wipe them down with auto glass cleaner, they show up and go away as the surface gets dry.



The windows & quarter panels don't really bother me much but the main problem is the

windshield.



So, I did a search and tried windex, auto glass cleaners, claying, vinegar and none of them worked but Bar Keepers Friend. (at least that's what I thought)

I spent one hour cleaning all the glass surface using BKF.



Two weeks later, not only they showed up again but also they are worse than before.

They showed up on every glass surface I polished so I am certain that they are not

from the wiper.



Any help will be appreciated....thank you.
 
I would just try AIO and a cutting pad. I had a similar problem on the Protege when I first bought it. I ended up going over all the glass twice with AIO/yellow. That did the trick for me.
