Xmas surprise

As a few of you may know, I helped Carlack to develop their new website.

Two or three days before Christmas the mailman brought a fairly big, and surprisingly heavy package. Carlack tapes all over it... :woohoo:

It was the personal gift from Mr. Reckling, the owner of Carlack. CL68, Poly-Lack, Long Life Sealant, Plastic Care, Wheel Cleaner, Polishing Paste, Light Scratch Removing Compound, Glass Cleaner & Sealant, a bug sponge and a couple of towels... Ah, the midi-whiskies and the mini bottles were also part of the package.

Jeff's packaging is far more attractive but who cares?

Of course, reviews will follow.

nice gift indeed!

I had to laugh out loud about the liquors :)

btw, Maker's Mark makes for a very tasty Manhattan (w/Noilly Pratt sweet vermouth) or Old Fashioned (a little light on the sugar - it's a tad sweet for a bourbon). Heavy on the bitters, please :)

Heheh, uhm, no. I don't drink alcohol, just collecting mini bottles (following my father's footsteps). It seems that Helmut (Mr. Reckling) has the same hobby as well...

Never knew there were that many Carlack products. Any close-ups pics? :grinno:

Jeff has better looking packaging but so does Turtle Wax.

i am glad for you Bence!! Been a long time for me as a drinker also but did recognize a few of those bottles of Brew. Look forward to your reviews.

Nice one.

Was checking out the new site the other night much better.

Bence - Do you know what products in the Carlack range will compare to the Werkstatt products?

Prime - Carlack 68

Acrylic Jett - Long Life Sealant

The one I really want to try Carnuba Jett, will Carlack have an alike product to this?

Thanks guys.

Yep. 68 = Prime, LLS = AJ. I don't know about the CJ, there is no equivalent here. Same goes for the polishing paste & compound. No alternative in the States.

Yes the website is greatly improved, but there are still typos & 'grammos'... Some part of it is the old, original text, some parts are new. ;)
