PC practice anyone?

Well, I purchased a PC last weekend, and have been itching to try it, but have been too afraid to use it on any cars. SOOOO I was cleaning out my garage, and looked at my fridge....whcih is painted white....and before you know it, the fridge was washed, clayed, washed, PC'd with 3M SMR, washed, then Zaino'd. Lets just say I know I have the shinniest fridge on the block. I was going to try my Snap on tool chest, but the buffer that came with the PC (I order some from CMA that are in the mail) started to tear allready :(. After this, I will try it on a couple of my old bikes, then my Grey car, my bro's car, my dads car...then finally my car. The results were pretty good for my first time too!

Go right for the car. Screw that other stuff. You can not hurt it with a PC. Just start at a slow speed if you are affraid.
I agree. Just pick appropriate pads/products, read some of the simple usage tips, and go for it!

just like non-PC work, keep everything super clean (surface, pads, etc)...i'm giving it my first go at the norcal detailing meet this weekend

TOTALLY! Jump right in man! It's like stealing candy from a baby it's so easy. The first time I used it, I used compound pad and Meguiars Medallion Paint Cleaner and didn't have a single problem.
