Great photos everyone!
I really like Gary's! Wish we had landscapes like that around here. Gary, what HDR software are you using? I would really like to get back into photography and try some of that.
Anyone ever do any IR? I've been thinking about getting a modified camera but not sure yet.

I just don't care for how things like cars and bikes look with hdr, but the landscapes look very good. | |

I agree with you Grimm too.. I make the bikes and cars look "cartoony" on purpose because I just cant find the correct look.

klnyc that last one is pretty cool. Crazy DOF and color. I love vivid colors in landscapes.
Did you use a ND filter for the water effect or does that happen with HDR? Either way I like the soft look.

wow that last one is nice. ive tried reading about this HDR stuff.. you take 3-5 different exposure settings then combine all the photos correct? but just exactly how do you go about doing that? can you do it in regular ol' adobe photoshop or will i need another program? | |

You can do HDR in Photoshop but the results are not as good as Photomatix HDR software IMO. They have a good demo on their site to check it out too.
