I've got some Megs #9 and found that it works great for the scratches in the door handle well.

I actually threw my #9 out. I gave it plenty of tries but never seemed to get me anywhere. It did help remove a little bit of the haze from more aggressive products, but I still prefer other products.

i actually like #9 a lot just for the simplicity of use via pc, and the fact that it looks good for a while. i use it on my girlfriends red car that is abused, because if i polished with something abrasive all the time i'd be in big trouble with the clear (or lack thereof).



for inner door handles scratch x works really well too.

I won't argue with the fillers approach; I have some cars that won't take abrasive polishing and I'd rather try to hide some of the marring than risk needing a repaint.
