After a few more passes with the PC, using slow passes, lots of pressure and not much more improvement, it was time to break out the Hitachi Rotary.

Here is the right rear fender after:

IP/RMG mix Rotary 1500 yellow excel P2 pad
IP/RMG mix PC6 yellow excel P2 pad

After 106FF/RMG mix Rotary 1400 green excel P2 pad, 3x ZFX'd Z5pro and Z8

Prime on the wheels:

Interior:

Engine:

Missed a few spots.

Great turnaround - I hope you told the owner that wherever he's getting his car washed is not a good place to continue going

Also, I've never gone rotary, PC, then rotary again; just curious...what's your reasoning for this process?

Also, I don't know if you'd tried this before, but I compared PG/RMG via white Lake Country variable contact pad versus IP/RMG via yellow LC VC pad (similar cut to yellow propel) and I actually got more cut with the PG combo, and yet it finished down noticably better on black as long as I worked the polish thoroughly to break the the abrasives down. Don't know if you have any of the LC VC pads, but they are a must for IP and PG because they work great for compounding and yet they have the ability to finish down amazing well. Try and let me know what you think - you obviously know your buffing.

Ryan
