Hope they remember to reinstall the thru-hulls on the first boat before splashing it again.

First one looks like my dad's boat...which reminds me that I have to tackle it as well .

Very nice work. Boats are no joke and take a LOT of time.

Nice job ! What products did you use ? I just picked up some 3m ultra paste wax to try. Looks like it is going to warm up this weekend.

That 21' looks almost exactly like my parents, except we've got a 300 hp, 454 in the back.

It's on wooden boards that are angled to hold the boat in position during the winter season (or whenever it's out of the water). Pretty simple idea although I still am not completly cool with being under the ones that have to be waxed on the bottom of the hull and just trusting that the boards are in the right place and it won't roll over on me.

The product I used the MOST on the first boat was 3M marine cleaner & wax. Hands down great product by rotary. I was very pleased. I also used some of their restorer and wax in one (had harsher rubbing compound in it) as well as a cleaner wax made by PRO that I picked up from a local distrubutor.

On the 52' I used 3M marine liquid wax on the reflection shot, as well as QEW for washing the hole boat (to try and keep the 100 gallons of water it would have taken out of the shop). Man was that a PITA. I currently Have 9 more boats to do and more are comming in every day. I think I will be busy with these for a while!

Meh I have no idea what that is nor could I care because it's not my boat! Although he was very pleased with how it came out and gave a $25 tip!

Speaking of powerful motors, the 52' has three turbo disels to push it along and burns a healthy aprox 120 gallons an hour (of gas). So when you wonder who's using all the gas and making prices go up...just think about this guy and his beautiful boat. Sad part is he has an even bigger one worth $1.3 Mil bringing him to just over $2 Mil worth of boats.
