However, I am not sure that 10 layers would make a difference. A lot of people here (including myself) have found that 3 - 4 layers is optimal, and that after that there is no additional benefits in terms of looks. My recommendation would be, keep it to 3-4 layers and top it with Zaino Z8 instead. You will love the look and save a lot of Ultima PGP (which is very expensive). Good job with that car though.

(If I wanted my car to look like plastic I would just put a clear bra over the whole car... Only Kidding) I believe what I will do now though is use Ultima Detail Spray Plus after washes and apply Ultima PGP about every month or so.

Trust me, Z8 will make your Ultima even better. It adds more wetness and depth. I am not a Zaino fan myself, except for the Z8. Have you tried Fk 425 QD? Works great also on Ultima, IMO, better than Ultima QD Spray.

(it will be in my next order) I don't have Z8 on hand but do have Duragloss Aquawax, so I will try that after the next wash.

I have to make a comment/observation. I have Ultima as well. The shot of you holding the camera shows orange peel. I feel that Ultima amplified the look of orange peel on my cars.
I will say that it is extremely durable and easy to use. I find that a wipe down between layers with the detail spray brings out the best.

Not just Ultima, but sealants in general will magnify the underlying paint structure, which is why it is important to polish before applying a sealant as it will bring out any existing swirl marks and any other paint defects. In my own experience, I have found that BMW's are notorious for having orange peel.

I just feel that Ulltima brings them out a little more. It's a great product for ease of use and satisfactory results. Of course my cars looked the best using waxes, but I could not stand the lack of durability.

Steve | Ultima is the only sealant I use. I love this stuff. I recently experimented topping it with Cleakote Carnauba Moose Wax, and the result was amazing.
