That's a great list! I'll be doing my own mobile business this spring and am in the process of gathering ideas on what products to try. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting list. Wait until you try #16 though, I'll bet it earns a spot.

Are the other Menzerna products that good? How would you rate FMJ?

I use IP as my goto polish and love it!

Thanks for taking the time to compile this list. A good mix of manufacturers are represented.

As for the polishes, what is it about the Menzerna line that you prefer over other polishes?

Appreciate the list Sean. Very comprehensive and good suggestions all around.

Is there any particular reason you find EX-P to be superior on light colors and dark metallics? I have a titanium colored car coming in. Also, do you find FMJ to be similar to the new UPP in looks?

For reference, I have Zaino, P21S, Klasse, FMJ, and the old UPP on my shelf, in case you want to make any relative comparisons in your reply to my two questions. Thanks!

- J

Sean, this is really great!

First time I'm seeing you mention the Costco APC, what a sleeper product!

Please comment more on it. I bet Costcos nationwide are going to have shortages of the stuff all of the sudden!

Nice list. I would have chosen P21S over NXT for a wash but oh well.

Glad some of you are finding it useful thus far

Scott: I have a lot of waxes to bust through before I jump on the #16 boat. I probably will only get to try it if I get a sample.

RedCivic: I have used FMJ and really enjoyed its experience. It produces a very bright, reflective shine, that still shows a lot of color. I only used it on my car (sample) so I can't comment too much on it. However, for red, EX still takes the cake.

Rob Tomlin: Menzerna is the industry leader for precious abrasives. They sell their abrasives to many different companies out there. They are meant to be used via rotary which is key for me . They produce a brilliant shine (more gloss than any other polish out there) and leave no oils behind which means you can go straight to a sealant with no bonding issues.

JustinTRW: EX-P provides a very clear, wet look. It really shows off the color of the car and lets the metallic shine through. Like I said above, I have only used FMJ once...Can't really comment a ton about it but other users have enjoyed it very much.

LT1 Squirrel: I have not, sorry. However, if you are looking for great hand/PC polishes, I would highly reccomend the entire Poorboy's SSR line as well as Meguiar's #80 Speed Glaze.

Bill: It's comparable to Meguiar's APC, but 1/3 of the cost! It's a no-brainer for me

SilverLexus: I haven't really tried any luxurious car shampoos. My car usually gets S+W'd every 3 days instead. I just purchased 1Z Perls, but haven't gotten to use it (living in an apartment now).

01bluecls: You can thank ebpcivicsi for this . He turned me onto it initially and made a comparison to Meguiar's APC.

Sean, don't be cheap.

#16 is about $12. I can get it for you from my distributor for $11 but shipping would be about $4 for Priority Mail. Maybe if I can find a small container for it, I can send you a chunk.
